this prouct is very sturdy and well built, it even seems a little heavier than i thought it would be which is idicative of its sturdiness. the blade was tested and it was able to cut a piece of paper with relative ease. the multitools it includes would be really helpful for everyday use around the house or during camping, the tools include pliers, a philipps head, two flat heads and two bottle openers. In addition to the tolls attached to the knife it also inclused a small set of various size phillips, flat head and hex head drivers that are attached to the utility knife with an attachment.
The case that is included holds the utility knife as well as the 10 seperate sized screwdriver heads. the case is very sturdy and includes a belt loop. the box claims it comes with a lifetime warranty.
conclusion: I think this is decent product that i think will hold up over time, even with lots of use. being one who also ownes a letherman I feel I would still prefer the leatherman over this tool. mostly out of preferance for brand. I will defianly use this tool as it is perfect for keeping in a workshop, emergency kit, hunting kit, or glove box.
I think the price is right for the tools that are included and the warranty that is included is a bonus
I was apprehensive about ordering a multitool knife less than $50, but I am glad I did.
This knife is well made and has innovative features. There is a thumb assist to open knife quickly and with one hand. The blade as well as the Philips screwdriver & bit adapter lock in place for safety and convenience. A push on the locking bar releases both. Nothing more frustrating when trying to unscrew or screw with a blade that is not locked.
The plier and wire cutter mechanism is awesome. You merely grab end of plier handle and swing it and the plier jaws out of the recess. It is fairly easy to extract the other tools.
The bits comes in a rubber holder and the sheath has a space for it separate from the knife. The bit sleeve is magnetic and holds screwdriver bits well and the bit holder fits snuggly on the Phillip's bar. The sheath is quality material formed hard and not too tight when carrying the knife-tool.
Highly recommend this quality tool for everyday use or camping or whatever. It feels solid and not flimsy like some multitools.
I think this product has the potential to be useful during a camping trip or just to have around the house to open up bottles, cans or dealing with a few odd screws. When I bought it I didn't stare quite enough at the screen it turns out because it mentioned a discrete "safety feature" that keeps the knife out until it is pressed. The feature was far too discrete for me since it is "black" on "black" which does look cool. It also is not a traditional button it is located underneath, and has a sort of like clock-work gear appearance. The release has to be pressed on its side, which allows the blade to be lowered. I think it is worthwhile feature, but I wish the tool came with an information packet that explained where the tools were, and what was needed to put the blade down. I do like that no like plastic is on the tool just well machined smooth metal. I still haven't located the pliers. I might simply have less experience with this kind of mult-tool than others. Still, I am pleased with the purchase. It seems a great value for the price.
Very good for the price
