The thing that attracted my attention was the way it is designed. In every other multitool I have owned, the knife blade always seemed like an afterthought. It is the least available part of the tool. Also, with other multitools, you have to turn the damn thing inside out to use the tiny pliers.
With the Rover Tac multitool, the knife is right there just like a regular folding knife. The pliers are also easily available. Other than the knife and pliers, I have yet to use the tool under fire, so I cannot speak to it's sturdiness or durability, but the knife is a decent knife, and the pliers worked fine.
